Hi, this post is just going to be a brief plug for a great cause.
In previous posts, I've mentioned this awesome organization, COAF, that works in my village. COAF (the Children of Armenia Fund) hosts a fundraising holiday gala every year in New York City. I just learned that money raised from this year's gala will go towards the renovation of my school. This is an unbelievable opportunity for my school. For starters, our school is very old and in poor condition. It is not properly heated and the desks and chairs are falling apart. COAF has renovated many neighboring village's schools and done an amazing job. These new schools are absolutely beautiful. I visited the newest one yesterday, and I must say, it's nicer than the high school I went to in Delaware!
You can learn more about COAF and their work at www.coafkids.org. From there, you can learn more about the annual gala or just make a direct contribution. Any and all donations are appreciated.
Thanks for reading my shameless plug, have a great day!
