Last week I posted about my waning patience and longing to hear from the PC Placement Office. Well, no more than 24 hours later I received an e-mail from a Placement and Assessment Assistant in the Placement Office asking for updated information. I eagerly replied and got to the closest fax machine ASAP to send my final transcript, teaching certificate, and resume. I got an e-mail back this afternoon confirming the receipt of these documents and thanking me for my continued flexibility.
At this point, I am grateful to know that the process is still moving along. However, because my medical review took so long to complete, my initial nomination (departing in March to teach English in Eastern Europe) is no longer a possibility. Everything's up in the air!
