2/18 -- Why I won't be able to concentrate today...
I'm about to leave to go substitute, but I know I won't be able to concentrate all day. It's so early and I had to tell SOMEONE about this, but am too afraid to jinx it. What if I don't like the placement??? Ohhh god I can't believe it's happening.
Thank you, my anonymous audience, for paying attention. Obviously there will be an update as soon as I know anything.
I think Jessica makes a great point! Every country and every project have good things about them along with things that make them more challenging. Even if you're not initially thrilled with your placement I bet as you read and learn about it more you will start to really love it. Congratulations on becoming an invitee!
Thanks, everyone! I just posted with a more complete log of my emotions over the past few days, if you're interested.
@Jess and Peace Corps Hopeful, you've hit the nail on the head. I've already gotten more excited about Armenia after reading more about it. At first I wasn't too sure.
@FemaleGeek78, any news?? I guess I could just check your blog for such information... I'm still new at this, haha!
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and best wishes for everything ahead!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Don't worry, even if you're not initially happy with the placement, you'll come around. :-)

ReplyDeleteI'm starting to wonder the same thing. My invite went out Friday, and while I have guesses of where I might go I'm so nervous!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I'm sure you'll love it.
