4/28 - Small Update from Armenia Desk

Hopefully my lack of updating here does not indicate how (in)frequently I'll update while in Armenia. I doubt it, seeing as how the main reason I haven't update lately is because there just hasn't been much going on! Lately, my days have just been spent trying to spend lots time with friends and family and getting mentally ready for PC. I finished up the long-term subbing job a couple weeks ago. For Easter, my parents and I went to visit some family up in Pittsburgh. Luckily the weather held out, and we had a nice visit.

The only Peace Corps-related news I have came fairly recently.
Two days ago, I received an e-mail from the Armenia Desk with some additional information. They confirmed June 1st as our staging date (some early invitees had been told May 27th) and added two Welcome CDs to our online ToolKit. Both of these "CDs" are tailored specifically to our group and contain a lot of useful information. One CD was put together by the staff while the other was created by current Armenia PCVs. Personally, I find the latter a bit more interesting. It seems more candid. Plus, I like to hear about others' experiences.

The e-mail also indicated that we should find out more information about staging withing "a week or so." Perhaps then I will have more to blog about! Until then...
